Driver Expenses (Expenses paid with driver’s personal money):
Driver reimbursements are issued bi-weekly at the time of payroll. Expenses owed to driver need to be filled out and turned in separately from driver trip packets.
Drop & Pick Pay – LTL Freight:
Drop & Pick Pay (All Drops & Picks Including first & last) is $30.00 when hauling LTL freight. When you have one pick up and two drops on a load, you are only paid $30.00 for the second stop, and nothing for the first stop.
Driver Trainees: New drivers will be paid a flat rate of $125.00 per day when riding along with another Windstar Express employee.
Part-Time Driver's Pay Schedule: Any qualified Part-Time driver will be paid at the rate of $0.38 per mile, plus all other fees a Full-Time driver receives. OTR Step Deck/Conestoga drivers will also receive all tarp and extra pick fees.
Full-Time Driver Pay Scale: Drivers will be paid the following rates, figured on the practical miles off PC Miler. Over-dimensional freight is paid on odometer mileage.

Paychecks: Paychecks are issued bi-weekly and will be in your bank account on the Thursday following the previous two week pay period. All paychecks will be automatically deposited into your account. All BOL’s, logs, driver trip reports, and driver expenses, need to be turned in every Friday or Monday following the previous week, before paycheck will be processed. Driver will need to provide a voided blank check at the time of hire.
Must be at least 23 years of age and possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Must have 2 years verifiable OTR experience – flatbed experience preferred but not required.
Must have knowledge of and comply with all FMCSA rules and regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, and inspection and maintenance of equipment.
Must have no felony conviction or misdemeanor drug conviction, and have a satisfactory work history record.
Must be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle as demonstrated by a current medical examiner’s certificate.
Pass a pre-employment drug test.
No speed or serious traffic violations in that last year.
No suspensions in the last year.
No DWI convictions in the last year.
